Transition Primrose Hill

Edible Primrose HIll

In summer 2013, Transition Primrose Hill co operated with the community association and the library to plant 11 fruit trees in pots outside local shops in Regents Park Road. The underplanting is with herbs and edible flowers. Sandfords Estate Agents gave a generous grant and Haverstock School Design Technology students made the beautiful signage.

Unfortunately there has been some vandalism, with trees broken and stakes pulled out. However we have replaced the destroyed trees and are looking forward to the blossom adn fruit this season.

After this summer, we shall need to find sites to plant the trees in the ground, as most of them will have outgrown their pots. A community orchard?
